1) spray a soup pot and cook onion about 5 min. Add sausage and seasonings 8 min. Add garlic and stir 1 min.
2) Add broth , potatoes, zucchini, and red pepper. Turn heat to high , cover and bring to boil 10 min.
3) Reduce heat to medium low and boil until potatoes are fork tender (3-5min)
4) Add half and half and kale and stir until kale and stir until tender.
5) Top with bacon, fresh basil, and parmesan cheese (optional)
