ground beef 1 Pounds
Italian Sausage (sweet or hot) 1 Pounds
onion (chopped) 1 Each
garlic cloves (minced) 3 Each
pasta sauce or (other ingredients) 1 Quarts
canned homemade tomato juice 1 Quarts
small cans tomato paste 2 Each
fresh basil chopped 2 Tablespoons
fresh parsley chopped 2 Tablespoons
Directions
  1) saute onion and garlic in 2 Tablespoons olive oil and add meats.
  2) Add salt and pepper
  3) Then add either a quart of your favorite pasta sauce or the other ingredients.
  4) Cook in a crock pot over night or cook on top of the stove for 4 hours. The secret is in how long you cook the sauce.
  5) serve over pasta, your choice, with grated Parmesano Reggiano cheese.
