1) Heat butter and add garlic, cook over low heat until garlic is tender
2) Add cream cheese and whisk until soft.
3) Add pint heavy whip cream and let mixture simmer over low heat about 15 mins. If mixture is too runny you can mix a little flour with milk and add.
4) Add the parmesan cheese right before you are ready to serve. You can cook chicken and add to sauce for yummy chicken alfredo.
