Ingredient Qty. Unit
chopped garlic clove 2 Each
onion 1 Each
olive oil 2 Tablespoons
hot italian sausage 1 Pounds
lean ground beef 1 Pounds
small can tomato paste 2 Each
can of tomato sauce 2 Each
can diced tomato 1 Each
tomato juice 1 Quarts
can diced olives 1 Each
chopped vegetable 1 Each
salt and pepper 1 Each
fresh basil 1 Each
fresh oregano 1 Each
Directions
  1) Take chopped garlic and onion and simmer in 2 TBS of olive oil. Then add the remaining ingredients except basil and oregano in crockpot.
  2) Cook for several hour then add spices. You can eliminate the canned goods and fresh herbs and add 2 quarts of store bought spaghetti sauce and you will have a similar flavor
