1) Preheat oven to 375*.
2) I a small mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3) Ina large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4) Add vanilla and egg. Beat well.
5) Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
6) Mix well.
7) Add chocolate chips. Mix well. Roll into balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
8) Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 min.
9) Remove from oven and place ona cooling rack.
