Ingredient Qty. Unit
pkg yeast 2 Each
warm water 1/2 Cups
butter 1/2 Cups
sugar 1/2 Cups
hot water 1 Cups
salt 2 Teaspoons
hot water 1 Cups
salt 2 Teaspoons
eggs 3 Each
flour 4 1/2 Cups
orange rind 1 Each
powdered sugar 1 Each
Directions
  1) 2 pkgs. Yeast (1 pkg = 2 ¼ tsp)
  2) ½ cup warm water
  3) Combine water and yeast and let sit.
  4) Melt
  5) ½ cup margarine or butter
  6) ½ cup sugar
  7) 1 cup hot water
  8) 2 tsp salt
  9) Combine butter mixture with yeast mixture.
  10) Add
  11) 3 eggs well beaten
  12) 4 to 4 ½ cups flour
  13) Let dough sit in refrigerator in fridge overnight in a covered bowl. Dived dough into two balls. Roll each ball out to rectangle.
  14) Melt ½ cup butter and add ½ cup sugar and the rind of 1 orange. Spread mixture over both rectangles. Roll up dough from long size. Cut each roll into 12 pieces and place in greased muffin tins. Let rise 3 to 4 hours. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes
  15) Top rolls with icing made from powdered sugar and orange juice. (I just use the juice from the orange I got the rind from)
