1) When ready to cook, set the temperature to 225? and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
2) Combine breadcrumbs, milk, onion, sage, and salt. Add beaten eggs. Add both ground beef and ground sausage and mix well.
3) Form mixture into a loaf, packing tightly. Weave Bacon and place meatloaf on bacon and cover. Place meatloaf directly on grill grate, and cook for 45 min.
4) Then increase temp to 325 and cook till internal temp reaches 160. about another hour.
5) During the last 15 minutes (once meatloaf reaches about 140 degrees F), brush the meatloaf with barbecue sauce to caramelize.
6) For the Glaze: Combine the Sauce with the apple juice. Glaze meatloaf during the last 20 minutes of cooking.
7) Let meatloaf rest 5-10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
