Ingredient Qty. Unit
onion, thinly sliced 1 Each
red pepper, sliced 1 Each
green pepper, sliced 1 Each
chili powder 2 Teaspoons
cumin 1 Teaspoons
salt 1/2 Teaspoons
cayenne pepper 1/4 Teaspoons
chicken breast, boneless & skinless 3 Pounds
salsa 1 Cups
juice of 1 lime 1 Each
Directions
  1) In crockpot, add onions and peppers first.
  2) Add chicken, salsa and lime.
  3) When nearly done, shred chicken. Add spices.
  4) Cook on high 4 hours.
  5) To serve with tortillas, place shredded chicken in middle of tortilla and add optional toppings if desired.
  6) Topping Options: shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, lettuce.
